Motorcycle types: Custom (aka cruiser, chopper)
Features:
- usually medium to large engine displacement
- low riding position with arms and legs extended forward
- perfect for customization, great availability of after market accessories
- ideal for short and medium-haul trips at low speed
- decent comfort and no air protection
Cons:
- in some models the extreme inclination of steering head could be trouble in low speed manoeuvring and in tight turns
- the high handlebars of some models may strain the arm muscles
- usually noisy and poorly performing engine
- engine vibrations
- not suitable for sporty riding
