Motorcycle types: Adventure sport (aka sport enduro touring, crossover)
Features:
- usually medium to large engine displacement, in recent years, small-displacement models have also arrived
- very good comfort, good air protection
- 17 or 19 inch front wheel, alloy or spoked rims and road tires
- long travel suspension
- ideal for medium and long-haul trips on paved roads and occasionally on easy dirt roads, small and medium displacements are excellent for commuting
Cons:
- not suitable for hard off-road
- seat is too high for short riders
- in some models, size and weight could be a problem in low speed manoeuvring
