Energica and Samsung present at Eicma 2018 the Smart Ride project and the Bolid-e prototype. The base is the Eva EsseEsse9 with 80 W electric engine and 180 Nm of torque. Samsung has set up the connectivity side, in fact the vehicle allows to communicate and be started using the Gear S3 smartwatch, thanks to the NFC, a dedicated app and the bluetooth connection. The mirrors have been replaced with two Galaxy A8 smartphone that act as Head-up displays and show what two cameras, one in front and one rear, shooting.
